VIBE HCM SOFTWARE ENGINEER - Interface Implementations
Department: Enterprise Integrations
Elkhart Indiana or Saskatoon Canada
The Software Engineer – Interface Implementations will be assigned to the Interface Implementations team within the Integrations & Research department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assist in translating functional requirements and developing design and code in partnership with senior team members
Assist in the design and development in coordination with senior team members and team guidelines
Proactively collaborate in an active and engaged way with team members on analyzing, developing, debugging, unit testing, and delivering of high quality code
Participate in team and individual code reviews to ensure and improve quality of deliverables
Follow all coding, process, and conduct standards of the organization
Participate in other assigned projects
Provide production research, support, and bug fixes for existing functionality as needed
Create, maintain, and troubleshoot integration solutions within our graphical ETL utility
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Information Systems, Computer Science or related fields from an accredited college or university
1-3 years of related software development experience
Proficiency in T-SQL and a strong understanding of relational database systems
1-3 years of software development utilizing the Microsoft development toolset ideal
Experience with working from a project queue
Experience with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) ideal
Experience with ETL development, utilities, and solutions ideal
Experience with flat files, FTP, and PGP ideal
Experience with C# a plus
Experience in a SaaS environment is a plus
Experience with ASP.NET Web API or other web service technologies a plus

Work Environment and Physical Demands
The work environment and physical demands are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate in an office setting.
The employee is frequently required to be in a stationary position and regularly use the computer keyboard and mouse and will view the computer monitor frequently. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk and reach with hands. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel or crouch. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
