The Financial Analyst analyzes financial status by collecting, monitoring, studying data, and then recommending actions. This role will support the overall financial operations of the business, including revenue and expense analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assist in preparation, coordination, and documentation of financial analysis projects.
Provide analytical support for forward-looking financial and business-related projects.
Assist in the preparation of forecasts and analysis of trends in manufacturing, sales, finance, general business conditions, and other related areas.
Assist in financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts.
Analyze financial results, monitor variances, identifying trends, and recommending actions to management
Assist with the preparation, review, and distribution of various monthly financial reports
Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process
Review profit and cost efficiencies in various areas of the organization as needed
Identify financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
Research and explain revenue and expense variances and trends
Identify trends in financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement
Protect operations by keeping financial information confidential
Participate in other assigned projects
Bachelor’s degree in Math/Statistics, Accounting, Finance or related fields from an accredited college or university
Three or more years of experience in financial analysis is strongly desired
Intermediate to advanced computer skills; Intermediate to advanced Excel experience

Work Environment and Physical Demands
The work environment and physical demands are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate in an office setting.
The employee is frequently required to be in a stationary position and regularly use the computer keyboard and mouse and will view the computer monitor frequently. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk and reach with hands. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel or crouch. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
